Information You Submit
Entries made in a search form, such as a name, telephone number, or address, go to the outside provider that supplies the results. Our servers do not retain a separate copy of those searches. When you contact us, we receive the details you decide to send and use them to answer your message.
Information Collected Automatically
Our hosting systems create standard logs that can include an IP address, browser type, visited pages, and timestamps. We review that data in aggregate to maintain the service and see which resources are useful. Cookies or comparable tools may support basic analytics and, when used, advertising measurement.
What We Do With This Data
The information above helps us operate the service, troubleshoot faults, measure visits, and improve content. We neither sell visitor lists nor create individual user profiles.
Privacy on Linked Services
Links may lead to Maryland government portals, Baltimore County records offices, library resources, and outside search services. Information entered after leaving this service is subject to the destination's privacy policy. The same rule applies to sponsored search results, which an outside company provides.
Parties That Process Data
Vendors that host or support the service process server logs for us. Analytics and advertising partners may receive the automatic information described earlier. We may disclose information in response to valid legal process, but do not otherwise share visitor data.
How We Protect Your Data
An encrypted connection protects data in transit. Server logs are kept only for as long as the stated purposes require. Since visitors have no accounts here, we hold no site password or account profile for them.
Visitors Under Age 18
The service is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. Contact us if you believe a minor submitted such information, and we will remove it.
Your Data Rights
The Maryland Online Data Privacy Act of 2024, effective October 1, 2025, gives covered consumers rights that may include access, correction, deletion, data portability, and opting out of certain sale or targeted-advertising practices, subject to statutory exceptions. Because we retain little information, a request will usually involve checking contact mail and available server logs. Submit a request through the Contact page. Government records held by Baltimore County or Maryland agencies are outside our control. A correction, shielding, or removal request for an official record must go to its custodian under the law that governs that record, including the Maryland Public Information Act where applicable.
